Back to PJPS - Am 28. April bin ich wieder gelandet in Manila, habe den Weg (vom neuen Terminal 1) wieder gefunden ins Staff House (zu Dianara, scholarship Verantwortliche PJPS)
Ich wurde herzlich empfangen von der neuen und alten Crew (Fr. Eli, Fr. Henry, Dong Henry, Jonathan, Charlie, Dianara, Gene und Emile (ly) und konnte gleich fleissig mitarbeiten und mitessen!

Looking at our country today, we live at a time where the rhetoric of fear, terror and evil has reached a new level. Those of us who stand in Christian tradition are called to recognize the centrality of active nonviolence to the vision and message of Jesus. It is in this light that the Philippine Jesuit Prison Service would like to invite you to a seminar-workshop on "Engaging in Creative and Active Nonviolence", with Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan (SLB) headed by Fr. Pat Falguera, SJ, on APRIL 30, 2017, 1:00 to 4:00pm at INA NG AWA PARISH Multi-Purpose Hall, New Bilibid Prison, Muntinlupa City. A Eucharistic Celebration will be followed after the activity. Der Einladung für diesen speziellen Anlass, am Sonntagmittag 13-17h sind etwa 40 Mütter und 20 Collage/High School Schüler, 10 PJPS-Volunteers, sowie 1 Vertreterin der Bucor (vom Gefängnispersonal) gefolgt.
Die Ansprache wurde vom StadtAdminstrator von Muntinlupa gehalten, Rj Smith, der grosse Vortrag von SLB (Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan), hat Carlos präsentiert, in Tagallo, so habe ich ca 20% verstanden. Es ging um die politische Situation mit dem neuen Präsidenten und dem Antrag für die Todesstrafe, die von PJPS aktiv bekämpft wird. Die Entstehung und Hintergründe, die dazu geführt haben, wurden sehr gut aufgezeigt mit Power Point.
Ich war erstaunt, wie interessiert und engagiert Fragen gestellt wurden, und nach Antworten gerungen wurde. Am Ende blieben noch 30Min. Zeit für einen Austausch und Vorschläge, welche Anliegen bzw. wie man mit NON VIOLANCE trotzdem das Ziel erreichen kann.
Dank einem feinen Jollybee Essen waren wieder alle bereit für den abschliessenden Gottesdienst von Fr. Eli!
